Goo Goo Dolls are stupid. CSNY isn’t too bad, so they get my vote.

It’s this simple… Goo Goo Dolls are from my time period yet I can only name one of their songs, well maybe two. However, despite the fact that CSNY was years before I was born, I could name hit after hit that they have produced.
I just saw Goo Goo Dolls (with Counting Crows). I really don’t care for either band, and I didn’t want to go to the concert but I was surprised. I think the Goo Goos put on an excellent show! I really enjoyed them. The Counting Crows ******.
I never saw CSN(Y) live, but I’d say that generally speaking, I like their music better (it’s more my generation). That doesn’t necessarily mean they put on a more entertaining show than the Goo Goos.
Hard to compare music that was written 30+ years apart.
Crosby Stills Nash & Young. It’s a matter of longevity and relevance to the time. Regardless of your muscial preference, almost everyone who lived through the 60’s has some personal connection to at least ONE CSNY song. Can the same be said for the Goo Goo Dolls? Do you think people will still be listening and remembering Goo Goo Dolls songs 20 and 30 years from now??
