Who do you think is better: Green Day or The Goo Goo Dolls?

Personally, I like The Goo Goo Dolls better. I know Green Day is like the pimp of all puck groups, but The Goo Goo Dolls sing my all-time favorite song “Iris” and I like their new song “Better Days”!!

   As of right now Green Days music is better but I like the old Goo Goo Dolls the new stuff for me is dumb but Green Day rocks now and back then.

   So far Green Day has released more albums and have been around longer so I would think they’re better.

   Green Day has a harder edge although they lost quite a following with their fame, they gained a new following and seem to be proving critics wrong everywhere. Plus nice guitar jabs and quick lyrics help. The Goo, well its a bit too mellow, so I guess it depends on your point of view.

   Greenday is mainly for all the lame people who love the Backstreet Boys and discovered the band with their new album American Idiot.

   Goo goo dolls’s music is more complex and John Rzeznik is so much talented than that lame Billie Joe. Talk about limited vocal range.

   Slipknot is for kids who think they’re cool! MTV’s version of metal….

    what kind of a question is that? Goo Goo Dolls is deep, awesome sounding music, Green Day is annoying… ear noise.. sorry excuse for Punk.. it defies the definition of Punk.. Punk was NEVER supposed to be mainstream.. so i dunno.. its some kind of wannabe perversion.. of punk.. maybe? who knows.. im at a loss here.

    They are both great bands. You can’t compare them musically though. Greenday REALLY needs to get the hell out of politics. Music needs to be an escape from that ****. I would choose Goo Goo Dolls just for that reason.
