I think this song is about a person who no one understands:
”And I don’t want the world to see me
Cause I don’t think that they’d understand”
Then the person finds true love:
”And I’d give up forever to touch you
Cause I know that you feel me somehow
You’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be”
And the person wants her or him love to know he/she exists and the love one is the only the who can understand the person:
”When everything’s made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am”
the singer is in love with someone, it’s sort of a border line love/infatuation/obsession, and it doesn’t seem to be necessarily returned, but all this person knows is they want to spend any moment they can with the one they love.
